"I initially reached out to Aleena because she had already done shoots at our wedding venue (a small state park in Northern CA) and I loved the style and editing of her photos. Once we hopped on a call with her, it was an immediate yes from both of us to hire her for our wedding day. As we live in Colorado, I knew I wouldn't be meeting our photographer until the day of the wedding, but she was so kind and personable and explained everything clearly, which put my mind at ease. Even though I am not a planner, I was planning our small wedding myself and could be overwhelmed at times. Aleena was always patient with me, helped me create a timeline for the day, and was so accommodating to all our needs. From the minute she arrived while we were all getting ready, to our first look and private vows, and throughout the ceremony and reception, she made me feel comfortable, especially during the extremely intimate parts of the day.
